Three ingredients. About 20 minutes. And almost no cooking skills required. These Cinnamon Apple Bites wrap warm, gooey apple filling inside buttery crescent dough with plenty of cinnamon sugar. They’re ridiculously easy, ridiculously good, and exactly the kind of recipe we love at DOOZY DELISH. Because sometimes you want homemade dessert. You just don’t want to work that hard for it. πŸ˜‚

🍎 Just 3 Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • Cinnamon sugar

Don’t have cinnamon sugar? Mix about ΒΌ cup sugar with 1 tablespoon cinnamon. That’s it. Let’s make these things.

πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ How to Make Cinnamon Apple Bites

1. Get the Oven Ready

Preheat your oven to 375Β°F, or follow the temperature on your crescent-roll package. Line a baking sheet with pre-cut parchment sheets Β or lightly grease the pan.

2. Add the Cinnamon Sugar

Separate the crescent dough into triangles and sprinkle each one with cinnamon sugar.

3. Add the Apples

Give the apples in your pie filling a quick rough chop. Smaller pieces are much easier to roll. Spoon a little filling onto the wide end of each crescent.

🍎 DOOZY TIP: Don’t go crazy with the filling. Too much and you’ll have an apple explosion happening on your baking sheet.

If you want to make a fresh-apple version sometime, an apple slicer/corer makes prep stupidly easy.

4. Roll ‘Em Up

Roll each crescent from the wide end toward the point and place it seam-side down on the baking sheet. Sprinkle a little more cinnamon sugar over the top.

5. Bake

Bake for 10–13 minutes, until they’re puffed and golden brown. Let them cool for a few minutes before digging in. Hot apple filling does not care how hungry you are. πŸ˜‚

🀀 Make Them Even More Awesome

They’re delicious straight from the pan. But…

Put two warm apple bites in a bowl, add vanilla ice cream and finish with caramel drizzle. Now your ridiculously easy three-ingredient recipe looks like a restaurant dessert. Other easy additions:

Whipped cream β€’ Chopped pecans β€’ Powdered sugar β€’ Extra cinnamon

A good trigger-style ice cream scoop Β makes that ice-cream version even easier.

πŸ’ Try This Next

Once you’ve made the apple version, swap the filling and make: Cherry πŸ’ β€’ Blueberry 🫐 β€’ Peach πŸ‘

You can even add a little cream cheese. Yes, that makes four ingredients. We’ll allow it.

🧊 Got Leftovers?

Store them covered in the refrigerator for up to three days. Warm them for a few minutes in the air fryer or toaster oven to bring back some of that crispy exterior. The microwave works too, but they’ll be softer. Although planning for leftovers may be wildly optimistic.
