The Redstone missile in Warren, NH is a PGM-11 Redstone Rocket. The Redstone missile was brought into town on April 21, 1971. The Redstone missile is not from warren. It’s from the person who brought the rocket to town Henry Ted Asselin; he had the help of Irving Macdonald of Dorchester, New Hampshire. (Town of Warren, NH). The “Redstone Rocket” was brought to Warren on April 21, 1971, and was later dedicated in tribute to America’s achievements in space. Alan Shepard, of Derry, New Hampshire, became the first American to travel into space. Shepard’s spacecraft, aided by a Redstone Rocket, launched on May 5, 1961.(WMUR)
