Behind the Scenes at Vermont Teddy Bear

One of our favorite things about exploring New England is discovering the stories behind the businesses and products that make our region special. And Vermont Teddy Bear is certainly one of those businesses. During our visit, we had the opportunity to see this limited-edition holiday bear up close and get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the details that make it so distinctive.

Seeing the bear in person gave us an even greater appreciation for the design, from its carefully coordinated holiday costume to the small decorative touches that bring the entire look together. Even the embroidered 2026 detail adds a special finishing touch, marking this bear as part of this year’s holiday collection. It’s those little details that help turn a teddy bear into a keepsake.

And when only a handful are being produced, those details become even more meaningful.

ONLY 50 WILL BE MADE!

Here’s the part that collectors will especially appreciate.

Vermont Teddy Bear is producing just 50 of these limited-edition 2026 Christmas bears.

Not 500.

Not 5,000.

Just 50.

That exceptionally small production run makes this a particularly exclusive holiday release.

Whether you’re a longtime teddy bear collector, someone who appreciates beautifully designed holiday decorations, or simply searching for a truly special Christmas gift, this bear is worth watching.

And with such a limited quantity, we wouldn’t recommend waiting too long once the official release is announced.
